Almost everything listed in this section is also perfectly suitable for use on a professional stage. We list them here to emphasize that these illusions can be done in a smaller, more intimate setting, where distance and angles may be less under your control than they would be in a stage setting.

Campbell's Cube Off - Item# 06900

An amazing block penetration effect by Magician Campbell McRae of Scotland - an effect that has won praise from many top performing magicians.

Suitable for stage, yet can be performed inches from your audience. The apparatus comprises of a wooden tube, with large see through holes at both ends, a solid block about 2" in size, and a brass wand. The cube is placed in the tube, visible at all times through the hole. The wand is passed through the cube and tube, locking the cube firmly in the tube. Then with a tap, the cube visibly penetrates off the wand.

There have been similar effects before, but none so clean and convincing.
The best part is that you have almost nothing to do, other than follow the instructions.

	An assistant is chosen from the audience and asked to drink a glass of water. While a second assistant from the audience pumps the first assistants arm, the magician places the funnel under his other elbow. 	A tall clear plastic cylinder is freely shown and three 18 inch silks are placed inside, filling it. A metal cover, open at both ends, is then slid down over the outside of the cylinder. When the cover is removed, the silks have changed into three real oranges (or any other solid object) which can be handed out or tossed to the audience. This is a deluxe and enhanced version of the classic "Sucker Die Box".

A double compartment box with doors in the front and on the top and open sides is shown. A solid die that has been inspected is visibly placed in the box and the audience asked to guess the location of the die. No matter which compartment they guess you tilt the box to move the die to the other compartment. You can even hear a loud tap a tell tale sign that the die has moved to the other compartment. Obviously when the identified door is opened it is found to be empty. After some by play both the front doors, top doors and the side panels are opened but there is no sign of the die. The die has magically vanished. All the doors are then closed and magically the die appears back inside the box.

The die measures about 3" x 3 " x 3" and the box measures about 10" x 5 3/4" x 5 1/2". The box and die are made in wood and the box is lacquered to high glossy finish. This is an excellent price for an excellent quality prop.

	You'll never run out of uses for this beautiful apparatus. Here's the effect. A metal pan is shown to be empty. The magician breaks a real egg into the pan, adds salt, pepper and vinegar (really lighter fluid). A match is thrown in and the entire mix burst into flames! A pan lid is put on to extinguish the flames. The lid is immediately removed to reveal a dove, small animal, popcorn, candy, or sponge cake. Your production is limited only by the size of the pan. Made of highly polished aluminum, this device is light weight but sturdy, with an excellent quick action release. 	Three silk scarves are tied together and placed inside of a tube. The magician then holds the canister behind his back and claims that the silks will "jump from one end to the other." Of course, the audience is more than a bit skeptical, so the magician offers to show them a different trick. The three scarves are bundled into one hand and he announces that they have merged into one big scarf! Again the audience can't be sure, but when the magician opens his hand the three scarves really have merged into one long piece! 	Very visual! A clear plastic tube rests on a base. Three balls are shown. They are colored red, yellow and green. The clear tube is covered with a brightly painted metal cover and the balls are dropped inside. The audience is asked to remember what order the balls are in. Even though there is just enough room in the tube to fit the three balls, one on top of the other, the ball placed on top always winds up in the wrong place when the tube is uncovered! One ball, the red one, always does the wandering. Finally, the magician take this roaming ball and places it in a wooden box. When the box is flipped open, the ball has vanished! The audience can see completely through the box! The ball then reappears in the plastic tube between the other two. Several routines are provided in the instructions. 	Two bottles and two metal covers are shown. The magician uses one and a spectator uses the other. Both covers are shown to be empty and then placed over the bottles. They are inverted back and forth, the spectator following your every move. However, when the cover is raised, your bottle is always upright, and theirs is always upside down!
